Eating off the floor makes a dog crane down. A feeder at roughly chest height takes the bend out of it — and this one moves, so it still fits in two years.

12, 18 or 24 cm to the bowl. Undo two knobs, slide the top, do them back up — set it low for a puppy and raise it later.
It looks like furniture

Steel frame, walnut-look top
A powder-coated steel frame with an MDF top in a walnut finish — it photographs like solid timber and it isn't, which is worth saying plainly. The two stainless steel bowls drop into cut-outs in the top and lift straight back out for washing. A third slow-feed bowl comes in the box and swaps in for either one.

How do I change the height?
Two knobs on the legs. Unscrew them, slide the top to 12, 18 or 24 cm, screw them back down. No tools once it's built.
Is the top real timber?
No — it's MDF with a walnut-look finish on a powder-coated steel frame. It photographs like solid timber and we'd rather tell you than have you find out.
What size dog does it suit?
Small through to medium-large at the 24 cm setting. As a rule the bowl wants to sit around chest height so they aren't reaching down or stretching up.
What's the slow-feed bowl for?
It has raised sections moulded into it, so a dog that would empty a bowl in thirty seconds has to work around them. It swaps in place of either standard bowl.
Does it need assembling?
Yes, it arrives flat-packed and takes a few minutes with the kit in the box. The frame bolts together and the top drops on.
