The Plush Nest
An oval bed with a soft rim running the whole way round, sitting on profiled foam rather than loose stuffing.
A headrest wherever they end up facing
For dogs who circle before they settle and want something against their back when they land.
A rim the whole way round
The bolster runs a full circuit of the bed, so there's a headrest at every point on the edge. Dogs who shuffle around three times before settling never end up facing a gap.
Oval, not round
A circle wastes space for a dog who half-stretches. The oval gives them length to extend along while still keeping the rim within reach.
Egg-crate foam in the base
The sleeping surface sits on profiled foam rather than loose stuffing, so it doesn't compress into a flat spot in the middle where they lie every night.
Waterproof underneath
A sealed base means a spill or an accident stays off your floorboards, and the grip backing keeps it from wandering across the room.

Ribbed plush with foam underneath
The surface is a soft plush with a fine corded rib running through it — enough texture that it reads as a considered fabric rather than flat grey fleece. Underneath the sleeping area is egg-crate foam, which is what stops a plush bed collapsing into a hollow where the dog lies every night. The rim stays deliberately soft.

Size guide
Measure your dog curled, not stretched. The dimensions below are the outside of the bed — the rim takes some of it, so go up if you're between sizes.

Questions we actually get
Which size do I need?
Measure your dog curled up rather than stretched out — this is a bed for curling, and the rim takes some of the room. If they're between sizes, go up. The dimensions listed are the outside of the bed, so the sleeping area inside is smaller than the number you see.
How is this different from the Calming Nest?
The Calming Nest is a deep shaggy donut you sink into. This one is a firmer oval with a flat foam sleeping area and a rim around it — more of a proper bed with a headrest, less of a beanbag. Dogs who like to half-stretch tend to prefer this shape.
Will it flatten out?
The base is egg-crate foam rather than loose fill, which is the part that usually goes flat on a plush bed. The rim is soft by design and will settle into whatever shape your dog leaves it in — that's the point of it, not a fault.
How do I wash it?
The cover unzips and goes in the machine on a cold gentle cycle. Air dry rather than tumble so the pile keeps its loft. The waterproof underside means most accidents never reach your floor in the meantime.
