The bolster bed they love, without the heat
Plush beds hold warmth, which is lovely in July and miserable in January. The Chill keeps the sides they like to curl against and swaps the fluffy top for one that feels cool.
Cool to the touch
The top is mica nylon, a smooth cooling fabric. It feels cool under them instead of trapping warmth the way a fluffy top does.
Sides to curl against
Bolsters run around every side, with a lower front so they can step straight in. Dogs who sleep with their head on an edge keep their edge.
Into the wash, whole
No cover to wrestle off. The whole bed goes in the washing machine, so summer mud and sand are a wash cycle, not a write-off.
Treated against bites
The fabric is treated to deter biting insects, and the treatment is rated to last more than 50 machine washes.
Cooling top, Oxford sides, soft fill
The sleeping surface is mica nylon, a smooth cooling fabric that feels cool to the touch. The sides are 600D Oxford fabric that stands up to claws, and the bolsters and base are filled with soft PP cotton. The fabric is treated to deter biting insects, and the whole bed goes in the washing machine.

Sizes are the outside of the bed. The sleeping area inside the bolsters is M 55 × 45 cm, L 70 × 50 cm, XL 90 × 60 cm. Measure them curled up the way they usually sleep and size up if they are between two.

How long does delivery take?
Free to metro areas. Orders are dispatched from Melbourne within 1–2 business days, and most arrive within 2–5 business days depending where you are.
Which size for my dog?
Outside: M 76 × 62 cm, L 97 × 66 cm, XL 105 × 82 cm, all 20 cm high. The sleeping area inside the bolsters is M 55 × 45 cm, L 70 × 50 cm, XL 90 × 60 cm. Measure them curled up and size up if they are between two.
Is it cold, like an ice pack?
No. There is no gel, water or ice in it. The top is a cooling fabric that feels cool to the touch and does not hold heat like a plush bed does. For a mat with more cooling, pair it with The Cool Spot.
Is it orthopedic?
No, the fill is soft PP cotton, not foam. For an older dog with sore joints, The Cool Down is our cooling memory-foam bed.
How do I wash it?
Put the whole bed in the washing machine on a gentle cycle and let it air dry. The insect treatment is rated for more than 50 washes.
What if my dog doesn't take to it?
You have 7 days to change your mind. If they don't settle, get in touch and we'll arrange an exchange or a return.
